The power that I had unleashed could and would never be matched by anything on this or any world ever again. The effect was one that had everyone blinking for a little bit, however the one that got the full force of the effect had been slammed and dented in the side of the bank walk where he had hit. I could see that he was hurting from it, but he wasn't dead.
When I had unleashed the powerful blast, Blood Ninja had just made contact with me, but whatever he had been planning hadn't been enough to stop what had slammed right into him. It had been like a wall of physical energy had slammed right into him and forced him not only off of his feet, but at the same time slammed him right into the wall, and since the energy hadn't stopped there, it had pushed him slightly into the wall causing the dent in the wall to appear behind him. I knew that the wall was trying to stop him from moving further, but it wasn't working that well and caused a crater to be formed around the side of him.
When the flow had stopped and even I was drawing breath, everything cleared around me, and everyone was either looking at me, or they were looking at Blood Ninja who was still slightly stuck in the wall. I slowly straightened out, right as Blood Ninja slowly slumped to the ground in a heap and even though you could see him breathing, he wasn't moving at all. As I looked around, I noticed that this was something that they had never seen before, and I knew that it was something that was going to be talked about for ages to come. Plus I could also see a few video recorders in the crowd, which meant that the news would eventually get ahold of this and then the world would see this.
Eventually everything returned back to normal, and even the people started moving around a bit. Alexis and Amy walked over to me and then looked towards Blood Ninja. "Ah just what did you do?" Alexis asked. "Never on any of the worlds that we'd been on when you've fought have you ever done anything like that before."
I turned to slightly look at her, as the emergency people show up to tend to the slumped Blood Ninja. "I learned to do it before I met up with you. That training world I told you about, that's where I learned it, and considering that that entire world is in a minute universe it took almost eight hundred years to fully master it and to get the levels high enough, but for some reason I always held back and I don't know why, but today that was the highest I'd ever been able to do that, before I could never get that high, no matter how hard I had tried." I told them.
I walked over to where Blood Ninja was still passed out but getting checked out. I just stared at what was being done, knowing that there was nothing that I could do, and namely since I didn't know fully what had happened to him since he had slammed into the wall. The medic looked up at me and I could see in his eyes that he didn't even want to mess with me on anything. "How's he doing?" I asked him.
The medic looked at him and then went back to his work. "I honestly have no idea what in the world you did to him, from what I could tell so far, you broke his back when he slammed into the wall at the level of force for which you threw him there. Of course that was no throw that I had ever seen before." The3 medic stated.
I looked at Blood Ninja and then around the area. "That's because I didn't throw him that was a chi energy blast that I hit him with, and at the level that I hit him, I'm honestly surprised that I didn't put him through the wall. I just wanted him to feel what he had been doing to everyone else, give him that same level of pain."
The medic looked up at me. "Well you not only did that, you broke his back, I'm thinking he passed out from the pain when his back broke, but we're not going to be able to tell for sure till we get him back to the hospital." It was at that point that the gurney came over and they placed Blood Ninja on it to take him to the hospital.
I couldn't say anything as they took him away; I knew that there wasn't anything to say in the first place. Then I remembered the little problem that we currently had and went back over to where Amy was standing. "Let me guess, you still haven't figured out the device yet?" I asked as I came over to her.
Amy looked up at me and handed it to me. "In all honesty, except for this suit, I really don't know how to work any of the things that you make." She stated.
I took the device and started the scan, which covered every single level that was out there and then some. I knew that Blood Ninja had covered just about everything since I knew that he wanted this to go off no matter what, but it had been something that he had said, about traveling to other worlds that gave me a clue. Now I honestly couldn't tell you if that meant other planets or like myself other dimensions, but I figured that I would check literally everything that could possibly trigger off the bomb, and low and behold there it was, the bomb was multi triggered, and would detonate a full square block with everyone and everything within. It was located two meters directly below us in solid concrete, and had to have been placed there ages ago, back when they had last fixed the street so that the creeks flow was going right below us instead of where it had been. Plus what didn't help matters was that it was located in literally two other time periods and dimensions as well, and that told me that Blood Ninja was a time traveler and had been on other dimensional worlds as well. This was something that I didn't realize could happen at all, my only question now was, how do I stop this after all did matter who was with me, I had no way to travel through time at all, and the kicker was this bomb had to be stopped at several points at the same time.
It was at that point that Amy spoke up and I had no idea that she was looking over my shoulder at the readings as well. "Just wondering something, but besides being able to detect the problem and how it's connected up, can it also be able to disarm it as well?" She asked me.
I shook my head. "No it's configured to detect only, nothing more." That's when I gave it some thought and realized that it was configured that way, but not made that way, I had made it to be multipurpose. "Wait a second here, I configured it that way, but that's not how I made it in the first place." I said as I turned the unit over to the access panel to the inner workings. I opened the unit up and started working on the problem. I hooked up the device to my suits computer through a part on my right arm guard and started checking out the hardware and the programming of the device. It turned out that it was possible, but it was something that would only work once and would burn out the device for good.
After changing the configuration around, I set it down on the ground directly above the bomb and turned the unit on. The device phased out and started going down. It was set to detect exactly where the bomb was and then unphase on it. Once that part was done it was to teleport the bomb (after connecting up with it at all of its points in dimension and times) over 200 miles up into the air and detonate the bomb, making sure that no one came to harm and that nothing was damaged. Two minutes later I looked up, and everyone else noticed as well and looked up into the sky, a minute later there was a bright flash and the report from the explosion came back to us, and as I stood there, I noticed that a few people ducked down thinking that they might get hit by something, but the debris from the explosion was so small that nothing and no one would be hurt from it at all.
Alexis looked at me. "Now that right there was way too close." She stated. "I don't know how you did that whole chi energy thing, but I seriously want to know."
I didn't bother to answer her on that, all I knew was that a lot of people were going to be asking a few things after this, and that people would be on the lookout for those that might do harm to others. There would be more of those types that the police weren't going to be able to handle, and I knew at that point that my job had just gotten that much harder. All I knew was that I had to handle each things as it came along.
