Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Cause and Effect Part 2

Knowing that we would eventually have to make a run at City Hall, I decided that it was time to do some recon and check out the place to see everything and get it all down. Using the park right next to their was the perfect location given that the front of City Hall actually faced the park in the first place.

I recorded down everything that happened over a two week's time span of the in video and audio and notes that I wrote down. The video and audio I got through the Oakley HUD shades that I wore constantly, and it was all relayed right back to my computer back at the house so that I could be able to figure everything out.

In the meantime, I was also working on Amy's new suit that she was going to be wearing when all of this took place, and I was also looking for yet another girl that I knew would be eventually included on our team, however all I could find was information on her from before we had graduated high school, nothing after that, it was like she had vanished right off the face of the earth. However right at that point, I knew that I couldn't dwell on it, even though Amy kept telling me that it was something that could take top priority after we'd solve this first problem. It turned out that the satellite was starting to get to an all-time high considering that I was going back and forth from this world to the other world, the one that I had first gone to from leaving this world, I was creating Amy's suit there considering that the tech needed was in that world and not the one that I was currently living in.

As we got more and more information, we got closer to actually doing what was needed and confronting whoever was behind everything in the first place. The only thing was that the problem was going to be with the police side of the entire building. It seemed that something had happened in this world a few years back that I didn't know about and now the police in this world operated on a completely random basis so one never knew when they were coming or going, and that was something that we were going to have to deal with. Alexis and I already had bullet absorbing energy shields that we could use, however that was the one part of Amy's suit that was going to take the longest, and I still hadn't been able to speed up the process of getting that part worked out right.

Once I figured out the energy shield problem, I had Amy come down to my lab under the house so that I could get the final parts worked out.

"You wanted to see me?" She asked as she stepped out of the clear tube leading up to the living room.

I turned to look at her. "You say that as if I ordered you here, and we both know that I didn't, so why would you say it that way. Anyway that's neither here nor there, here put this on your dominant hand's wrist." I told her handing her what appeared to be a wrist watch.

Amy took it and looked at it for a second before putting it on her right wrist. "Ok now what?" She asked.

What Amy didn't know was that the moment the band connected together at the lock point under her wrist, it was starting to read her DNA to make sure that she was the only one who could operate it. I knew at this point that not even I could be able to operate the device. "See that button on the side of the lock buckle right there, press it." I told her.

She pressed the button and a trigger unfolded sliding out into her palm. Amy was momentarily startled by what had just happened. "What the hell just happened and what is that?" She asked.

I laughed slightly since that was also the same reaction that Alexis had the first time when I had updated her suit as well. "That's the trigger to activate your new suit, just press your middle and ring finger on the trigger pad there and press it, after that the suit will activate and envelope your body and fully activate everything that you'll have with the suit." I told her.

Amy pressed the trigger and a second later she was enveloped in her suit that was mostly colored in green and red and had a white facial eye section for the head piece. Her hair was flowing from the top as designed and it looked like she had fire coming off the top of her head. I just hoped that the anti-gravity  units would actually pull through and work the way that they were supposed to in the first place. After all, Amy was supposed to be able to fly without a glider under her feet.

"Amazing, I can't believe that you did all of this." Amy stated as she looked all over her suit, suddenly she started to float off the floor and hover about a couple inches in the air. When Amy took notice of what was going on, she freaked out and dropped to the floor and crumpled down there. "What the hell?"

I dashed over and helped her back on her feet. "This suit allows you to do the one thing that I can't do without a glider, you can fly and you were starting to do that without any effort at all, though I noticed that it had been sooner than I thought. The suit is connected to you and reads what you want to do and feel like doing, but it also operates on a level that not many know about. What was it that you were thinking about when you started hovering?" I asked her.

Amy looked at me. "I wasn't thinking about anything really, I was just still amazed by the suit in the first place to see that you had finished it and had gotten everything for it working. I'm a little overwhelmed by what I'm seeing through this face piece."

I smiled. "That's your HUD or Heads Up Display, it will show you everything around to at all times, and it will let you know if there happens to be danger around you at all, and it will show the constant status of your suit at all times." I told her. "However if you're going to test out the flight part of the suit, please do it out back so that way you can hopefully have something soft to land on instead of crashing into the floor here and possibly damaging the suit. I mean it would be good considering the portal to the other world is here and it would be easier to repair, but you're going to need the open space in order to get things worked out right better than you could down here." I told her.

Both Amy and I went outside and I even showed her the button that would slip the suit back into standby mode, which Amy was surprised to find out that it was a button on the back of her wrist that had to be pressed a certain way in order for the suit to go into standby mode. After all she wouldn't want it to drop to standby right in the middle of a battle now would she?

I followed Amy up and outside of the house and explained other functions of the suit to her as well, knowing that she would need to know how the entire suit work, considering that I couldn't exactly write up a user manual for the suit. Once we made it outside, it allowed Amy the space she was going to need to test flight the suit, and since the field was active at all times, I had made sure that the suit would be safe to go in and out of the field constantly. Everything that Amy did was constantly being recorded down in the lab, and I had told her this, I wanted to make sure that anything that happened would be module and adaptable to anything that might be needed to be added to the suit later on, just like mine had been from the start. After all one never knew when one needed to make a change later on, even if it happens to be on another world.

About three hours later after Amy had tested literally everything on the suit twice (some more than that when she happened to like them most), and after she put the suit back into standby mode, she took it off and handed it back to me.

"What's this all about?" I asked her.

Amy looked at me while still holding the unit out to me. "Well I figured that you would want to run more tests on it now that I've gone and checked everything out." She told me.

I put my hand on it and her hand and gently pushed it back to her. "Sometimes you have to run before you can walk." I told her. "Keep the suit, the best way we can find out if anything needs to be done to it is from the field and this suit hasn't had the chance yet to hit the field, and it won't if you happen to give it back to me."

Amy looked at me. "Wait you want me to go out there and do what you do?" She asked.

I only smiled and never said anything before turning and heading back to the house. "Check how it works against the little things that are out there, one never knows what one will run into at any given time while they're trying to save someone." I told her before heading fully back into the house.

I turned around and watched as she put the device back on and activate the suit, a second later she was rising up into the air and disappearing over the house and heading right back into the city, though I did notice that she didn't land at all in Martinez, but flew on ward towards Concord and the outlying areas. Something told me that from that point things were going to be changing for the better.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Cause and Effect Part 1

Over the coming weeks as Amy got herself resituated to not only living here at the house, but also to helping me out in ways that I never thought of before, one of which was trying to find the source of why everyone hated the hell out of me. On that I doubted she would ever find the source, but one never knew, and I knew that personally from all of the worlds that I had visited.

About a month after Amy was fully settled in, she came into my office room since I had the door wide open letting everyone know that they could come talk to me if they needed to, of course at the moment there was only Alexis and Amy and that was it. However Amy didn't know the truth about Alexis and she hadn't asked, so I hadn't bothered to say anything to her on it.

"I think that I might've found something that might be the reason for the hatred that is geared directly towards you." She said as she stopped in the door way and leaned on the frame.

I turned around to face her away from my computer that I had set up, and it was displaying information on not only the dimensional worlds at the current time, but also the time lines for each of those worlds as well so that way I could monitor them and know if anything went wrong. Of course if anything did go wrong, that would be something that would be hard to pick out for someone that hadn't spent time in each of the worlds that I was now looking at. I nodded for her to continue.

"So I was looking over all of the data and information when it came to the levels of hatred that had been at the highest level when you had been here before you had left, and then the sudden drop off after you left, which took place literally the moment that you, as you put it, leaped to your first world. The hatred had been worldwide, however it was all centered right here in Contra Costa County, right in this city of Martinez California. No way in the world could that ever be a coincidence." Amy said as she looked at the note book that she had in her hand.

Despite everything that I was bringing over to this world that were more advanced than anything that was on this world at all, Amy still insisted on hand writing everything down and keeping hard copies of everything. "Well if that happens to be the case Amy, then where in town is everything centered on and located at?" I asked her.

Amy consulted her notes for a second before looking up and saying only one location. "City Hall."

Ok that right there floored the hell out of me, the one place that was the most centralized here in Martinez, and that's where all the hatred against me was literally coming from, that couldn't be right could it. "Wait you're telling me that something at City Hall is making everyone on this world hate me?" I asked her.

She looked at me. "Well I doubt that it's going to be a big poster with a camera on it saying 'Hate Alex', more likely something connected with satellites is doing it. Like a dish up on the roof connected up to a computer system there that actually doesn't belong on this world and is something way different from what you have set up anywhere here at all." Amy finished.

I couldn't seriously believe what Amy was saying, that there was some sort of computer system over at City Hall that was causing all of the world's hatred to be directed solely at me. Then I realized something. "Wait a minute, you said sudden drop off when I leaped, what do you mean by that?" I asked.

Amy looked at her notes. "I was wondering that myself so I looked at all of the records of the time, and it seems that whatever had a grip on the people completely left when you left yourself and till you came back never appeared again, like there was a sudden switch had been thrown and everyone was completely different or the lock they had was gone. I think that whatever system was set up couldn't find out and so it just shut off. When you and Alexis came back the system slowly started to wake up again and that's why the people were slowly starting to hate you again. However there was a small section of the population that was never effected by whatever was controlling the rest of the world." Amy finished explaining.

A lot had been answered right there by what she had told me, things that I didn't and hadn't thought of before I had left. I know that the hatred had been centered on me to the point that I had just hidden myself away till that lightning bolt had hit me and then I eventually made the suit and guilder that I left with, but now that I was back, I knew that I was going to have to deal with everything, not that I really wanted to, but I also knew that I had no choice in the matter when it came to the entire subject. There was now just one problem that I had to deal with and I didn't have any clue how to deal with it at all.

"Well now that we've gotten that figured out, there is one thing that we need to figure out, and that's going to be the bear of the problem. How do we get into City Hall to shut down the source of the hatred that's been affecting everyone on the planet, after all I doubt that they're going to just let me waltz right into the place and say 'Gee the system you're looking for is right this way', I mean come on here." I said.

Amy looked back at her notes. "That's something that I was also trying to figure out, and I still haven't been able to figure it out either. However I'm still working on it right now." She said as she turned and went back to her room and that had a mini laptop sized version of what I had in here.

Either way, I knew that this wasn't going to be a walk in the park, and I knew that I had my first major enemy on this world that I was going to have to confront sooner than I had thought.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: The Beginning Part 3

Believe it or not, it wasn't right off that we found out how it was done, how the people of this city (and possible the world) had been turned to hate me like there was no tomorrow. Nope, after I showed Alexis the full house, including the hidden sub-levels that I had built right under the house, I actually started concentrating on finding the one person that I knew back in school hadn't been turned against me. However the only problem was finding this person and actually meeting up with her, considering that tensions were starting to go back up with me walking around now that I was back, I even had a few people do a double take on even seeing me back in the first place.

It was about two months after I had gotten back, and had created a double identity for myself without meaning to, namely with the Ninja suit that I constantly wore on my wrist in standby mode. No one realized that Ninja and I were one in the same; personally at that point I really didn't mind considering that they praised and loved Ninja, while they hated me personally. It was after all that that I had at long last discovered the one person that hadn't succumbed to whatever was changing the people back to the way that they were. I had sent her a message and we had agreed to meet back up our old high school right at the football field where it was right out in plain view of everyone and everything.

Arriving, I noticed that the gate was locked as per normal on a weekend, however for someone like me, which was no problem at all. I leaped over the fence and landed like I did it every day, which in truth I actually did with the training room that I had built under the house. Walking over to the stands, I noticed about half way up the bleachers towards the center  which was the best picked out spot if you wanted to be noticed by all and wanted to make sure that everyone could come to you fast, but the person you wanted hurt couldn't get away that fast.

Walking up the bleachers, I went over and sat down next to her. "Well you certainly picked the right spot to make sure that nothing happened to you, that's for sure." I stated as I sat down near her but never looked at her. I was wearing a pair of Oakley shades like the ones worn in a certain mutant movie, however these ones not only didn't come from this world, they had a H.U.D. on them that let me know what was fully around me, and they were tied into the suit even though the suit was in standby mode at the current time.

Amy looked at me and smiled. "You disappeared for six years, and then right out of the blue two things happen, a house appears out of nowhere that not only can no one even get past the front gate without ending up about thirty miles away. So what happened to you, I mean it was like overnight this entire world hated you went away like it had never been there in the first place. I still have the news footage of you dressed in that God awful suit just disappearing in a blast of blue light." She told me.

I looked at her then and smiled. "Believe me Amy, it's going to be better if I showed you than it will be to tell you, however that would mean you helping me find out why everyone hated me back then and is now starting to hate me yet again." I told her.

Amy looked around; I couldn't see what her eyes were thinking since she wore shades over them, however not like mine that was for sure. She looked back at me then stood up. "Well if I'm going to find out, we're not going to be able to do anything here are we. I take it that I'll be allowed up to your home and not sent away?" She asked

I smiled at that. "Yeah Alexis has you set up on a temp for now. So yeah don't worry you won't be teleported away once you cross the gateway threshold." I told her.

She smiled. "That's good to know, so let's get going here."

About an hour later we were walking through the door to the house, we had walked the entire way back since I hadn't been able to retrieve A.M.Y. from the second world where I got all of my tech. However for me it was better since I liked just watching her and ducking my face away at the last second so that she would only think that something might be up. Stepping through the front door, she didn't look impressed at all. "So this is the big surprised?" She asked.

Walking in and past her, I walked over to a spot near the back of the living room right by wear the shaded sliding glass windows (designed to withstand literally anything that might get tossed at them). "No the big surprise is actually below us." I told her, and mind you that once you see this, your world will be changed forever." I explained to her.

She came over to me and stood by me, and that's when I pointed to a certain spot on the floor. "Stand there, and when you arrive please step off fast before it comes back for me." I told her.

She stood right on the spot that I had pointed to, and the next thing she had on her face was a look of surprised when the floor started going down on her. Once she was below the floor, the opening irised closed so I couldn't remind her to get off the lift. However a minute later the floor irised back open with the floor becoming level once again. So I stepped on and descended to the lower levels that no one outside could see at all, once I had arrived I saw that Amy had stepped off the lift but hadn't moved any further. "Ah I know that this is all very shocking to take in, but any chance that you could move further so that I can get off." I asked.

That startled her and she moved out of the way for me to get off but continued to look around the place. "How is this possible? None of this should be here at all."

I went over to a nearby table that was covered in everything a tech geek on this world would love and stood in front of it as she continued to look around. "Everything that you see here I brought here from another dimensional world, one that was actually the first one that I traveled to upon leaving this world. Believe me once I left here I never actually expected to arrive in the middle of a fire fight at all, but I did, hell the first thing I saw upon arriving in that other world was a missile heading right for me. However it was all determined on one person that had started the entire thing off and it was I who ended the fighting in that world. From there I traveled to other worlds to see what they all had and what he differences were from this one, along the way I made friends and ended conflicts that had taken place on those world, and on one of them I even spent over two thousand years and learned the martial arts so well that I can defeat anyone on this world hands down, even Alexis up top." I told her. "Even you Amy, yeah I know all about your martial arts training, but you still have a lot to learn and believe me it's going to be a long while before you ever get to the level that I happen to be at all. However if you agree to stay here with us, not only can you take the same training, but at the same time you can go to worlds that you never would've thought possible in the least." I finished as I thumbed the trigger out on the wrist device.

Amy took notice of what I had just done. "Wait what are you going to do?" She asked.

I was rather surprised that she had noticed in the first place since at every conflict since I came back, no one had noticed at all. "This is just the trigger for something that I designed before I left this world and modified to the point that I'm almost a God in what I'm about to show you." I told her as I hit the trigger in my right palm with my middle and ring fingers. To the untrained eye, it would seem like the suit instantly appears on me, but that's not true at all, from standby mode on my wrist looking like a wrist watch, the suit unfolds from there at breath taking speeds to cover me in just about a heartbeat. I stood before Amy in the armor that looked just it had when I first left six years ago, and I could see the look on her face was completely stunned.

Amy walked over to me and put her hand on the chest piece of the suit. "I never thought that I would ever see this up close and personal, I mean I still wondered how you did it." She stated.

I smiled under the helmet mask. "Great, at least you like it, A.M.Y. thought it was a bit gaudy and a bit out there." I told her.

The name jerked her head up. "Wait a minute, who's Amy?" She asked.

I smiled. "That the name of the car that I gave life to, and I actually created her to have your voice, but the name is an acronym, Automatic Manual Yearly or A.M.Y. for short. So believe me Amy Hughes, she wasn't originally designed to be you, but when I went for the voice she has, yours was the first that came to mind, and I recreated her voice as best I could and it actually worked out. She helped me out when I was stuck at certain points and was a constant companion that I needed here before I left. I just hated having to leave her, that was the one thing that I didn't like, but I knew that I had to find my own way in the other worlds, at least before she joined me. Though how she started crossing worlds I've never been able to figure out and I checked her from top to bottom, and nothing." I explained to Amy as I walked a little away.

I kept thinking about everything that I had been through after A.M.Y. had rejoined up with me, but I knew that if I was going to continue on this world, I was going to need her help as well. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around. I dropped the helmet mask by having it fold up into the collar of the suit and looked at her with my own eyes. "So what do you think?" I asked her.

Amy looked at me and smiled. "For one, I'm married, and for two, sure I'm in, I'll join you and the young lady above." She said. "And to let you know, I want one of those suits too, since I noticed that Alexis up above has one as well."

I smiled. "Great, and to let you know I looked everything up on you in this world, and you were married but got a divorce which means that you will be known as Amy Hughes here, at least till you get your maiden name back. As far as it goes when it comes to the suit, I think that we can work something out, but you're going to need another name when you're wearing the suit, after all the H.U.D. is going to be covering your face which means that people won't know that it's you at all." I told her.

Amy walked over to the table and started poking around but not really touching anything. "Well considering that I'm being reborn here and helping you and many others out, I think I have the perfect name for myself, and it can help you in the design as well. Call me Phoenix" She said as she turned to look at me and had the same fire in her eyes that sounded like it came with the name as well. A Phoenix had just been reborn from her own ashes.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: The Beginning Part 2

Quite a bit had changed since I had been here in this city six years ago, more than even I wanted to think about, but it seems that whatever these people thought of me was long gone, or at least I hoped however I had no idea and no way to find out either. As we walked through my old home town, the few things that I had noticed that had changed was the businesses that had changed a bit since I had last been here. Gone were some of them, replaced with other things that I never thought would ever move in at all.

I had realized that we had one slight problem and I pointed this out to Alexis. "We have a minor problem, we have no place to stay here, after all I've been gone for six years and so I doubt that I've still got my old home any more, though I know that my lab is still there, but right now I don't want to risk going back there since we don't know how everyone is going to react to me coming back yet.

Walking around I knew that there was only going to be one place that I would feel better setting everything up, and I knew what I was going to do, Alexis noticed the look and didn't like it at all.

"Oh hell no, I know that you've got an idea cooked up in that mind of yours, and no way in hell are you going to do it at all." She stated.

I looked at her. "And just what do you think I'm going to do?" I asked her.

She looked at me, and then turned to look off towards the hills, but in a general direction. "You're going to head towards the hills and then use the minute verse and create something up there for us. The last time that you used the Minute Verse, you looked stressed out as all day lights, after all I know that being there reminds you of being on the training world that you spent just about six centuries on." She told me.

Thing was when it came to being in the Minute Verse (which is what we called it since it was a side verse that slowed everything down to a standstill crawl so that you could be able to move around without any problems and get things done and taken care of that you never thought that you would ever be able to at all.), it did remind me of being on what I called the Training World where I had learned my martial arts skills that had defeated Alexis when we had first encountered each other (I'll save that story for another time). However the stress only came from not being able to get out of there the first time around and that was something that I had to figure out the first time that I was in there, and since I had, I had been back there several times before without her ever knowing about it in the first place.

Looking off towards the hills I saw exactly where I was going to put the house that I had in mind, along with everything else that I was planning on including with the house in the end. "I know that you're thinking that I'm not going to be able to handle it, but I do know that I can handle it. Besides I know exactly what I'm going to put there and everything that's going to go along with it" I told her.

The look that crossed her face wasn't one that I happened to like, but I figured that it was one that was saying if you say so type.

Heading up to the start of a drive way that headed up to a white house also located near where I wanted to put the house that I was planning on building up there. I knew right off that the drive way that I was going to put there would be joining the one for the white house that was there already. However I was planning on adding some things that were actually not of this world and would increase the security level of the house so far up that one would have to be nuts to try anything.

Looking around we didn't see any one around. "Alright, time to enter, and I'll be back in literally a minute." I said, as I took out a small device that looked like a flash drive of sorts. Activating the device, the world around me slowed so far down that there was no sound at all, and nothing moved at all. Actually everything was still moving, but so slowly that it seemed that everything was frozen in time. I attached the device to my belt by putting it into a small pouch, and got to work, I would be traveling back and forth between this world and the first world that I had traveled to, yeah I had gone back there and things had changed dramatically since I had been first there. The civil war that had rocked the place left not only a scarred world, but left it completely changed with no returning to the way things had been in the first place.

All in all I figured that with everything that I had needed to get done that it took me a grand total of twenty years in the minute verse for everything that I had planned to get done and all of the tech that I was installing into the place, and all twenty years was well worth it considering that one of the benefits of the Minute Verse was living like a God of sorts, never needing any sleep or rest at all, however I did eat since that was the one thing that the Minute Verse couldn't take care of at all. When I emerged from the Minute Verse by deactivating the device, Alexis looked at me and then her eyes widened at the sight she saw behind me.

"Ah, how long were you in there for?" She asked me.

Looking back at the newly paved driveway and up at the new house on the hill, I gave a smile. "I believe that I spent a total of twenty years in the Minute Verse, that way I got everything done that I wanted to get done, and no the house didn't take that long to build, that only took a couple of months, no it was everything else that I was including with the house that took longer to put it all in correctly. And currently right now, you and I are the only ones allowed on the property. Anyone else that tries to cross this gate will find themselves transported exactly thirty miles away in the direction that they were crossing in the first place. That little idea was one of the best security features that I had thought of, of course when they get sent that far, they're not only not going to realize what happened, they're going to wonder if something might've happened to them, yeah it's called being teleported thirty miles away from what you were trying to break into in the first place." I told her. "That should teach them a thing or two when it comes to trying to break into this house." I told her

Alexis and I walked up the connected driveway to the house that I had just literally built here on the hillside. The view of the place was amazing and looked out over the entire city, however this house held a secret, one that only a select few would ever know at all, and it started out with Alexis and me for the current time. "Now the house here has more to it than what you just see here, there's an entire world right under the place that no one but us for now will ever see." I told her. "And it's a place that we can use to keep the peace on this world." I finished.

Alexis knew that there was one thing that we had to deal with way before we got started with keeping the peace on this world, we had to deal with the problem that had sent me running from this world in the first place, and with that we had no idea where in the world to start with in the first place.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: The Beginning Part 1

(Author's note: This story takes place six years (current world time) after he first left, please understand that for him things have changed greatly which will actually be covered in the regular Ninja Chronicles stories)

As the blue field cleared, the first place that I looked was right up at the sky, and saw how clear it was up there. Not a cloud in the sky at all. Bringing my gaze back down, I saw that there had been a few changes since I had left, and once I saw what the local date was, I knew right then that I had been gone for six years. "Ok that's something that I wasn't expecting." I stated.

"What's that?" Two different voices asked me. Those two different voices belong to two totally different sources. One source was my own suit, during the multi world trip that I had taken, I had adapted my suit so much that I programmed a computer A.I. into the suit, and now just call it symbiote. Though I don't really know how in the world it actually happened, but for some reason it speaks with a British accent, after all I never programmed it to do that.

The other source was someone that I had met and fought while I was traveling through different worlds, and at first this person only tracked me as I moved about, turns out in the end this was one person that really knew me, because this person is me. Actually they're really not me, but in a way they are, this person is my double, but this person is a she. Yeah I know I was taken completely off guard with this as well, but then again I had met myself a few times as well on other worlds (though for some reason on the first world that I had traveled to and eventually was living on full time which is where I came from in the first place, I never did run into my double for that world).

I turned to look at her and since she was dressed exactly like I was only in a female suit version that was slightly less than what my suit had. "Alexis, you have to understand that I've been off this world for a while; however what I wasn't expecting was how long in truth I had been off this world for, which was actually six years. I honestly thought that it had been longer than that. After all with a lot of the different worlds that I had been to and the changing time that each of them had…" I couldn't continue I was too stunned. "Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone will know that it's me and still hate me on site." I said as the helmets folded down leaving us just in the rest of the suits.

Alexis looked around and at me. "Well there's only going to be one way to find out." She said as we started walking.

The area that we landed was the Waterfront Park located to the North of the City of Martinez, CA. We had arrived just north of the parking lot that was between us and the rest of the city with a train station before us as well. I really hadn't been here in six years, the station was no longer where it had been before and everything was changed, but I don't know if that was for the better or for the worse, but I knew that I was going to be finding out real fast.
