Ninja Chronicles: The Return: New Atlantis Part 1

After the fight with Blood Ninja, everything seemed to settle down, which personally I was extremely thankful for, after all I didn't need any more nut cases running around trying to take pot shots at people, other than the gangs that had been around the county, but seemed to realize that this was an area that they couldn't touch with me around. Believe me when they had tried taking me on personally, they wasted a lot of ammo, but nothing ever came of their shooting me, except for those that got away after the police had shown up, the vast majority of them ended up getting locked away on gang related charges.

However that had been back before Blood Ninja had tried anything, and after the entire fight with Blood Ninja had made the news, not even petty thieves wanted anything to do with this county any more, and what I was surprised about was that people were actually coming outside in some places and enjoying the sunny days that were coming around. Even on the rainy days, they were coming out then too.

But the one thing that I knew was that eventually something had to break and I knew that it would soon too. The only question I had was when it would, and in what form would it take, after all on this world, that was something that even I didn't know about.

Personally I was going back and forth in the lab between this world and the second world through the connection point that I had set up in the first place. I was busy working on different things that I knew would help out my world that I lived in without problems.

That problem that I mentioned, it actually came in a form that I seriously hadn't been expecting at all. It turns out that an underwater research center had been created right out in the bay and they were experiencing problems that they were needing help with, and mind you these problems weren't technical, since I couldn't handle that any way, no it turned out that there was someone down there doing major damage to the place, so they got in touch with people to get in touch with me.

I got the call about two weeks after everything with Blood Ninja calmed down, and I was told that there was an entire under water city in the middle of the bay just north of Martinez, the only reason why it was there, was because of the research that they needed to get done, and it had been there for the past couple of years. That was why I didn't know about it, because the place had been put there while I had been off jumping different dimensions, and it had even been on the news so everyone but me. I went through all of the news files that I could find on the place, even having both Alexis and Amy helping me out on this considering that they would going as well. I knew that Amy already knew about the place, but Alexis and I had been off world at the time when this had been placed into the bay.

After going down to the lab, all three of us went over to a lift at the side of the lab, located at the southern end of the lab, after we stepped inside (and since we were all suited up too) I thumbed a trigger on my belt that sent us heading down to a much lower level. When we arrived, we stepped out to a slightly smaller bay than the lab up above, and this one had a specially designed sub parked inside. The sub looked like a sting ray, with an overhead hatch access to the ship.

Alexis and Amy both looked around the place and couldn't believe what they were seeing, of course that was only because they had both never been down here before. "When in the world did you have this made, or has it always been here but we just never came down here?" Amy asked.

I smiled. "It would be the second one. There are sections of this base that you both have never entered into at all, however at the moment you're not going to be able to get access to them because right now the lift can only operate through the remote that I have right now on my belt." I told them pointing at the little unit on my belt. I walked over to a control board next to where the ship was docked and started entering in pre-launch information to the panel and getting the ship ready.

I noticed that both Amy and Alexis were continuing to look around the ship and the hanger that it was located in. Once I was finished, I jumped onto the wing and climbed up to the hatch on the top of the ship and entered the lock code to open the ship up. "You two might want to finish up what you're doing and eventually get up here. I've got the computer system running through the pre-flight right now, and considering that I've actually never taken this ship out here on this world, there are things that might be a little bit different that the world that it came from in the first place."

Amy turned to look at me. "And just what world did this ship come from in the first place?" She asked me.

"Believe, me this ship came from a war torn world, and to be honest, it was blown out of the water on the second world on the east coast. I brought it over here before bringing it over to this world. However I never really noticed if there were any differences between the two worlds here." I told them.

Alexis's head jumped up on hearing that. "Wait a minute, you never bothered to check at all, so you have going to fly us out into unknown waters here?" She asked.

At that moment I popped the hatch open, looked up at her, and nodded my head. "Yup, essentially." I stated as I dropped down into the ship and headed over to the main control board located to the left center of the main bridge area. Actually it was the only deck on the ship considering how small the whole ship was. Yes there were other stations and sections, but they were located all right there in the main section of the ship.

As I heard the ship's engine coming to life, I heard feet hitting the deck in back as both Alexis and Amy come on board the ship and I could tell even though I couldn't hear them, that they were looking over everything in the ship. I knew that with this new area that they were studying everything and putting everything to memory, and I knew that they wanted to know this ship just as well if not better than I did. However there was only one person that I would ever know of that would ever be able to know the ship and everything far better than I ever had or will. Once the two of them sat down where they figured they would, I started the ship and sank it down into the water and set us off towards the underwater city.

We cleared the tunnel bay and went right out into the bay and the only thing that I noticed from the ladies was the pressure difference after we left the tunnel. "Sorry about that, still haven't figured out how to get the pressure difference down and equalized out."

The city came into view a few minutes later and the sub dock was located towards the top of the place, however I noticed that there was another location for the ship to actually go into for the top hatch to actually come out into open air. The comm link between the ship and the city was by radio text message only, which actually surprised considering that the ships tech was from another world, and I actually didn't think that anything beyond the radio communication would actually be available here. I was told to dock at the spot that I had seen for the ship in the first place. Settling down the ship, I entered into the tunnel that was there for the ship, and I noticed that there was a water sealed hatch right there for the tunnel which meant that there was a very short tunnel right there.

After we entered and lifted the ship up, I noticed in the rear camera the hatch close, but the water level never dropped. Once the top part cleared the surface of the water, Alexis, Amy, and I climbed out of the ship and noticed that there were people standing there before us.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Blood Sport Part 3

The power that I had unleashed could and would never be matched by anything on this or any world ever again. The effect was one that had everyone blinking for a little bit, however the one that got the full force of the effect had been slammed and dented in the side of the bank walk where he had hit. I could see that he was hurting from it, but he wasn't dead.

When I had unleashed the powerful blast, Blood Ninja had just made contact with me, but whatever he had been planning hadn't been enough to stop what had slammed right into him. It had been like a wall of physical energy had slammed right into him and forced him not only off of his feet, but at the same time slammed him right into the wall, and since the energy hadn't stopped there, it had pushed him slightly into the wall causing the dent in the wall to appear behind him. I knew that the wall was trying to stop him from moving further, but it wasn't working that well and caused a crater to be formed around the side of him.

When the flow had stopped and even I was drawing breath, everything cleared around me, and everyone was either looking at me, or they were looking at Blood Ninja who was still slightly stuck in the wall. I slowly straightened out, right as Blood Ninja slowly slumped to the ground in a heap and even though you could see him breathing, he wasn't moving at all. As I looked around, I noticed that this was something that they had never seen before, and I knew that it was something that was going to be talked about for ages to come. Plus I could also see a few video recorders in the crowd, which meant that the news would eventually get ahold of this and then the world would see this.

Eventually everything returned back to normal, and even the people started moving around a bit. Alexis and Amy walked over to me and then looked towards Blood Ninja. "Ah just what did you do?" Alexis asked. "Never on any of the worlds that we'd been on when you've fought have you ever done anything like that before."

I turned to slightly look at her, as the emergency people show up to tend to the slumped Blood Ninja. "I learned to do it before I met up with you. That training world I told you about, that's where I learned it, and considering that that entire world is in a minute universe it took almost eight hundred years to fully master it and to get the levels high enough, but for some reason I always held back and I don't know why, but today that was the highest I'd ever been able to do that, before I could never get that high, no matter how hard I had tried." I told them.

I walked over to where Blood Ninja was still passed out but getting checked out. I just stared at what was being done, knowing that there was nothing that I could do, and namely since I didn't know fully what had happened to him since he had slammed into the wall. The medic looked up at me and I could see in his eyes that he didn't even want to mess with me on anything. "How's he doing?" I asked him.

The medic looked at him and then went back to his work. "I honestly have no idea what in the world you did to him, from what I could tell so far, you broke his back when he slammed into the wall at the level of force for which you threw him there. Of course that was no throw that I had ever seen before." The3 medic stated.

I looked at Blood Ninja and then around the area. "That's because I didn't throw him that was a chi energy blast that I hit him with, and at the level that I hit him, I'm honestly surprised that I didn't put him through the wall. I just wanted him to feel what he had been doing to everyone else, give him that same level of pain."

The medic looked up at me. "Well you not only did that, you broke his back, I'm thinking he passed out from the pain when his back broke, but we're not going to be able to tell for sure till we get him back to the hospital." It was at that point that the gurney came over and they placed Blood Ninja on it to take him to the hospital.

I couldn't say anything as they took him away; I knew that there wasn't anything to say in the first place. Then I remembered the little problem that we currently had and went back over to where Amy was standing. "Let me guess, you still haven't figured out the device yet?" I asked as I came over to her.

Amy looked up at me and handed it to me. "In all honesty, except for this suit, I really don't know how to work any of the things that you make." She stated.

I took the device and started the scan, which covered every single level that was out there and then some. I knew that Blood Ninja had covered just about everything since I knew that he wanted this to go off no matter what, but it had been something that he had said, about traveling to other worlds that gave me a clue. Now I honestly couldn't tell you if that meant other planets or like myself other dimensions, but I figured that I would check literally everything that could possibly trigger off the bomb, and low and behold there it was, the bomb was multi triggered, and would detonate a full square block with everyone and everything within. It was located two meters directly below us in solid concrete, and had to have been placed there ages ago, back when they had last fixed the street so that the creeks flow was going right below us instead of where it had been. Plus what didn't help matters was that it was located in literally two other time periods and dimensions as well, and that told me that Blood Ninja was a time traveler and had been on other dimensional worlds as well. This was something that I didn't realize could happen at all, my only question now was, how do I stop this after all did matter who was with me, I had no way to travel through time at all, and the kicker was this bomb had to be stopped at several points at the same time.

It was at that point that Amy spoke up and I had no idea that she was looking over my shoulder at the readings as well. "Just wondering something, but besides being able to detect the problem and how it's connected up, can it also be able to disarm it as well?" She asked me.

I shook my head. "No it's configured to detect only, nothing more." That's when I gave it some thought and realized that it was configured that way, but not made that way, I had made it to be multipurpose. "Wait a second here, I configured it that way, but that's not how I made it in the first place." I said as I turned the unit over to the access panel to the inner workings. I opened the unit up and started working on the problem. I hooked up the device to my suits computer through a part on my right arm guard and started checking out the hardware and the programming of the device. It turned out that it was possible, but it was something that would only work once and would burn out the device for good.

After changing the configuration around, I set it down on the ground directly above the bomb and turned the unit on. The device phased out and started going down. It was set to detect exactly where the bomb was and then unphase on it. Once that part was done it was to teleport the bomb (after connecting up with it at all of its points in dimension and times) over 200 miles up into the air and detonate the bomb, making sure that no one came to harm and that nothing was damaged. Two minutes later I looked up, and everyone else noticed as well and looked up into the sky, a minute later there was a bright flash and the report from the explosion came back to us, and as I stood there, I noticed that a few people ducked down thinking that they might get hit by something, but the debris from the explosion was so small that nothing and no one would be hurt from it at all.

Alexis looked at me. "Now that right there was way too close."  She stated. "I don't know how you did that whole chi energy thing, but I seriously want to know."

I didn't bother to answer her on that, all I knew was that a lot of people were going to be asking a few things after this, and that people would be on the lookout for those that might do harm to others. There would be more of those types that the police weren't going to be able to handle, and I knew at that point that my job had just gotten that much harder. All I knew was that I had to handle each things as it came along.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Blood Sport Part 2

During the following weeks, all I did was just check for the same situation all over the county, after all, this guy had no set pattern or location that he would stick around at, and that was the one thing that was driving me nuts. It was like he hated staying in one place and wanted to make an example in the entire county.

Amy checked back through every news agency she could find to see if there was something on him, and even she was drawing blanks. Alexis was in the second world checking the computer system there to see if this guy might be someone that can jump worlds, but even she came up empty. So till this had actually happened, there was nothing, it was like he was just dropped right out of the sky and started doing random killing and didn't matter who it was that he was killing either.

It was then that Amy came into my office with a shocked look on her face. "There's been another killing, a whole group of people, and this time it was right in the heart of our down town." She stated as we headed into the living room. Ok more like she was leading me there, I thought she was about to bring me down to the sub levels, but it turned out that I was wrong, what she was telling me was on the news right on television, this had no attracted media attention, which even I knew that the police weren't going to like in the least, this had to stop and soon. The question was how we would do it. I wanted to confront this guy head on, but there was no way that I could actually do so, after all I had no idea when or where this guy would strike next, and I knew he wasn't going to say anything.

As I walked into the living room, I looked at the screen and saw what was there, the answer was looking at me right in the face, and I could tell that it was intended on getting on camera. It seemed that this double had left a message directly for me. I don't know how, but he knew that I was trying to find him. It was on now.

All three of us went to the scene suited up, after all, this guy had now made everything public, and it was now time to call him out on the entire thing. When the crowd saw us coming, it was the press that almost started running for us, however the people have actually learned to read the position of my head since they can't see my face and know when I actually don't want to be messed with at all. However there were those that still didn't understand that, and tried to call off the ones that were coming towards me.

"Ninja, this red Ninja is calling you out, how are you going to respond?" One reporter asked with the camera right next to him.

It was at that point that I knew what to call this guy, and it certainly wasn't red. "He may be red, but I do know one thing, all he wants is blood so let's call him by what he wants, Blood Ninja, and I have a plan already don't worry about that. Now if you're done asking idiotic questions, I can get down to work here." I told him and left before he had a chance to say anything else further.

I walked over to where the writing had been drawn out, and yes it was all in blood, hence the name. Alexis and Amy were right beside me, and the police were keeping the people back, hopefully a safe distance. I put up my suits sensor to max range, which actually covered a five block radius, and we're talking city blocks here, not suburb blocks, which means that the coverage was huge. If he was there, I would find him.

The message was directed right at me, but I knew that Alexis and Amy would take it personally as well. "Ninja, just like the people here, I will end you and take you're place. Blood will be on your hands." Was what the message stated.

"Well this is a call out if I ever heard of one." Alexis stated as she looked around.

So far nothing was showing up, but I knew that it was only a matter of time, after all unless this guy had been to another dimension as I had, there was no way that he would ever be able to get away from me. However for some reason, he wasn't showing up on my sensors, and the reason why I knew this, we because he was making one hell of a dramatic entrance, from the top of the building across the street.

"If you think that's a call out Ninja, then you have no idea what you're in for." Blood Ninja called from across the street.

Everyone looked up at him, and you could see the crowd below him part like the red sea right before him. They knew danger when they saw it and wanted no part of it. I however didn't care about any of that; I just wanted to take this guy down period. Before I could say anything however, he leapt off the building and landed not five feet away right in front of me.

"However I know that you're not going to do anything to me, after all, you have no idea what I've done, and you can't take the risk that killing me will put these people in even more danger than what they are just being around me." He stated

Well he had a couple of things wrong right there, but I wasn't going to say anything to him about it. I just let him continue on. "After all you and I, we're both the same, we both want justice, and will do whatever it takes to get that justice. So what's it going to be, let me go or let these people die?" He asked.

Right then I knew what he had done, and opening a line to Amy and Alexis I let them know as well. "he's got bomb's planted around here, which means that these people are going to be seeing a fight since if any of them leave he'll detonate the bombs more than likely. I won't kill the bastard, but I am going to make sure that he feels me taking him down hard." I told them, right before I slugged Blood Ninja right in the face.

"You're right about one thing, we both do want justice, however I don't kill, that's entirely you." I told him as I spun around and landed a back round house kick right to his chest sending him flying.

"Ah a fight it is then." He stated as he flipped up back onto his feet again.

Great another martial artist, which means that he, knew not only how to deal out the pain, but to take it as well. Well it was time to find out, just the level of pain he could take. After all, with all of my off world adventures, I could say that I'd literally been to a Hell on Earth world and endured extreme pain.

He jumped up into the air, and for a second there, everything slowed down. Not one thing actually moved, it was a time stall bit that I had picked up from another world that allowed me to gather information that I would need to take down an enemy, and with Blood Ninja I was going to need everything I could get. The only kicker with this though, I had modified the time stall to allow me to be able to move faster than normal, everything around me still moved at the same speed as before, but this only added to things, I just hope that it was enough to be able to deal with Blood Ninja before something went wrong.

As he landed, he tried lashing his foot out at me, but I bent to the right side and threw a punch right at the hip to the left leg lashed out. It was a solid connect, but he didn't go down, he just staggered on one leg. "Ah time stall, I've seen that used before, only this time you've modified it, and I know that you're just wondering how I could know what you're using, well only time will tell for you." He stated and I could just tell that he was smiling under his mask.

The bastard was toying with me, I figured that right out at the start, but I needed the time for Alexis and Amy to deal with the boom problem first, once that was taken care of then, I could deal this guy a final blow and end all this. Blood Ninja and I traded blows left and right like crazy, and I had decided early on not to bother holding anything back, if this guy thought that he knew what it was going to be like fighting me, I knew had to change him on that. I could see that he was getting tired and fast, and all while I had a lot of energy to work with still here.

Then I got word. "We got them, and the police have severed the wireless connection that he had with it, there's no way that he can blow it up now." Amy stated to me.

That right there was good news, however I didn't trust this guy at all, he'd taken a lot of blows from me like they were nothing which mean that he had been prepared for them in the first place, which for my rapidly working mind mean that he had something else planned. I sent my computer to working on different sensors to see if there was something that Alexis and Amy might've missed and even connected up with the big computer in the other world to see what the time line showed for this world. That's when I had it.

Blood Ninja had set everything up in different ways, and the correct tool needed was back in the lab, and there was only one person that I knew who could get there fast enough to get it and come back. "Amy get back to the house, there's a device that I have in the lab that can double check everything on every level including time. You need to fly, and use the Phoenix mode to get there and back. I know that it's untested, but at this point sometimes you need to run before you can crawl." I told her.

The last thing that I saw of Amy was her lifting her head up and taking off into the air, before becoming a flaming bird like mass and heading back for the home. I can only hope that the Phoenix mode didn't do anything bad to her that was going be bad for me if it did. All I knew right now was that I had to end this fight and yesterday.

"Fine you want pain, I'll show your ass pain, you bastard." I stated to him as I gripped both of his armed, leapt up slightly and kicked him dead in the chest while flipping back from him. Once I landed, I stood right up and gathered up energy for something that I had only done once, and when I had done it I had promised myself that it would only be done in extreme cases needed only, never any other time. The energy being gathered was determined by me, as well as the speed that it was gathered up at, and I was gathering it up fast. I had been told that there was no limit, but I could never see that, for me there was a limit to everything, but right now I knew that I couldn't have a limit, I wanted this guy to feel the pain that he was putting everyone else through, and I knew that there was only one way to do that.

To the side from what I could see before everything went tunnel on me, was Amy arriving back with the unit to scan the bomb explosive. She could see what was about to happen and the look on her face was wondering why I was just standing here seemingly doing nothing as Blood Ninja ran right at me, with blades extending out to kill me.

It was at that point that a whole new world opened up to me, one that I had only been to once before when I had last done this and made that promise. Energy was pouring into me now at an unprecedented rate, and the limits that I thought were there before, were no longer there at all. Moving my arms around in classic moves, I picked a focal point to put it all out through and gathered it all starting in my hands to the right side of me before thrusting out and unleashing energy hell upon Blood Ninja. What made it extra painful for him was that he had just come back into contact range when I hit him with the blast. The entire thing could be seen once the energy was unleashed, but the explosive outcome, that no one could see coming.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Blood Sport Part 1

I've got to say that things around not just town, but around the word were returning back to the levels that they were before I had come back; I could actually walk around town without actually thinking that I might get my head ripped off. I was thinking about someone else when things actually slowly started going wrong not only in Martinez, but the rest of the county as well. It seemed that someone was doing some killings and the only thing that was getting reported was a red suited figure.

I had Amy start to look into the reports to find out what was going on, and nothing was matching up at first, but the reports of what the person looked like were all coming together, however the police had a little bit of a problem and called me in, and I went with Amy and Alexis to check things out.

As we walked into the station, we were escorted over to a central computer section. "Sorry about the armed guards Ninja, but this is something that we can't take a chance with." The officer stated.

I seriously wasn't worried, after all while in full suit mode, there was a shield in place that would not only stop the bullets from hitting me, they would disintegrate them and transfer the kinetic energy right to the suits battery, however I wasn't going to say anything about that, I just let them be.

When the officer motioned to the computer monitor, we looked down and watched the play back, the problem soon became apparent as we watched. Considering that everything was in black and white (and these guys were having problems getting everything upgraded because of budget problems, I knew that was going to have to be solved soon, but right then I couldn't worry about that), it was almost hard to tell what we were looking at, however the answer soon came on screen. What I was looking at was myself, only I knew that I had never been at the location the camera was looking at, and I noticed differences in the suit compared to mine, things that the police hadn't picked up on at all. In almost two seconds, it was over, the figure had come into the scene where a couple of people had been at, and killed all of them in less than a heartbeat. I started running a playback on my H.U.D. to see what he had fully done, and even slowed things down. What he had was retractable claw blades on his arm and hands, ones that when he moves fast enough were able to be used with deadly precision; something that I had never thought would ever be used. And I had only seen this be done once before, but on a world that this world considered only a comic book world.

When I got finished and returned the H.U.D. to real time everyone was looking at me. "Not only is that not me, I know the style that was used and I know where it came from in the first place. However that place you actually consider it a comic world only and don't believe that it's real. What he has on his arms and hands are retractable blades, I don't know about the rest of the suit since those were the only ones he used, but he moves like he knew how to use them. For this guy killing that many people in less than two seconds is something that only someone with great skill can be able to do. Yes I'm at that level, but I'm also beyond that level, and I don't kill, I knock out and leave for people like yourself officer, but I don't kill, it's not worth it at all. Besides, his suit is red not black." I finished telling them in the end.

I could see by the look in their eyes that they were shocked by everything I told them. "Wait, how can you tell that his suit is red?" Amy asked.

I looked at her. "Because there's different level shades of gray, each corresponding to a different color, and my suit told me that that level is with red, his eye lenses however are black, so there is going to be no way to see what his eyes are without taking his helmet mask off, and I doubt that he's going to be willing on that note to do that for us." I told them. "Besides on the time code there, I was at Sun Valley Mall stopping a couple of gun men from trying to kill a bunch of women and children, and you can check the security tapes on that one."

After getting the footage from them, we went back to the house I and ran the footage through the computers in the connected second world to see what they would come up with, and not only did it find the location for where everything took place, but it showed me the full suit and everything that there was to know about it. Amy called the computer the God computer because of everything that it could do, but it was set up to check out all dimensions and times and to show everything. However it couldn't affect anything that it saw, and it couldn't see the future, only the past and that was it.

Going back to my world, I went to the location that was on the camera and checked things out. I went without the suit on to see what I could find out, and to find out if this red Ninja would come back to kill anyone else at all. Sadly he never showed up, however there was crime scene tape there and I checked it all out with the shades, and discovered that there was one thing that had been left behind that the police never found. I was able to quickly snatch it since I doubt that the police were ever going to see it and it wasn't on camera at all. It was a card that had a black version of the Phoenix bird that I have on my chest, only mine's red not black. Whoever this guy was, he was copying me and I didn't like that in the least. Turning the card over I saw that there was only one word written in all capitals "BLOOD"

Whoever this guy was, he wanted blood plain and simple.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Cause and Effect Part 3

(Writer's note: Happy New Year everyone, guess we're starting this year off with a bang, and sorry about the delay in getting this out, but I know that once you read this, it'll be well worth it, just to let you all know there are spoilers in this story that tie it into the first Ninja Chronicles, but it's still worth the read in the end, trust me on that)

The actual day of hitting City Hall didn't take place for another three weeks, giving all three of us loads of time to get other things done and taken care of that needed to be taken care of. For one, Amy was building up a reputation as Phoenix helping people out and taking major criminals down (I actually helped out on a couple of the major criminals, some of which I really didn't even know were in here in town and the county, but save that for another time). The news reports and the videos that were being uploaded to the internet were showing Amy in her suit combating those that actually tried to fight back, and that was a joke right there considering her martial arts skills that she had. Hell her and her ex still ran the dojo couple of towns over and it was actually still doing well.

All the information that we could gather up I could only hope would be enough when the time came to do the actually hit on the place. Sitting down in the living room with Amy and Alexis, we went over our plan of attack and the information that we had gathered.

"Ok are we seriously going to attempt this, I mean we're talking that this place has the police station right there with them, and one call and the police will be all over us in no time." Amy stated.

Alexis looked at it all and stated what was going through my mind but I couldn't say at all. "We have no choice, if we're going to end this, we need to do this, and otherwise it's not going to be worth it, and Alex here will never be able to show his face outside of his mask ever again. Besides, they won't know who in the world we happen to be anyway considering that we're going to be wearing our suits the entire time." She stated.

Amy nodded; she already knew what I was thinking the entire time. "Alright then, let's do this."

Two days later, we did what we would later call the blitz right on the building, we literally just walked right in the front door with our suits fully on and stunning the hell out of everyone when we just kept walking right past the front desk person. The office that we needed was on the top floor, and instead of taking the elevator, we took the stairs and walked right up to where we need to go. Everyone was too stunned to do anything, even to the point that no one called the police next door at all.

Walking through the front door of the office was a simple matter, but who was on the other side actually blew my mind away, I had not been expecting the one person that was sitting right there in front of us.

"I was wondering when you would arrive, and don't worry, I've been watching you three since before you entered the building. It's been a long time; it looks like things have changed for us. It's been six years since you left, and now I understand why the system hasn't been working right. Then again it never was from this world, nor is half the tech you have in that or those, suits." He stated as he got up and walked around us and closed the door and then pressed a button on the wall next to the door. "Don't worry, I believe that Alex here knows what that little item happens to be." He stated as he walked back over to the desk and stood behind it looking out the window.

I still couldn't believe who it was that we were looking at, I had honestly thought that I had left him long behind, with no way to leave his world at all. All three of us were looking right at my double, one from a world that was nothing but tech, a world that I had later called the Tron World. I had thought that I had stopped him from leaving his own world so that way he couldn't leave and try to take over any other world like he had on his own world.

"How did you get here?" I asked him.

He turned and smiled at me. "Believe me it wasn't easy, but then again I didn't know at the time that not only was it going to be a one way trip, but it would be a trip through time as well. After you took the component that I was going to need to activate the device to leave my own world behind, I realized that I was trapped and had to come up with something else in the meantime. So I came up with something else that would send me to your world, namely this one. However when I stepped through the portal from that one to this one, I had no idea that it would take me to this world, but several years into the past before you left six years ago. Then again, I guess I really had miscalculated when it came to how to travel the barrier, and so when I traveled to this world, I thought that I had arrived right after you had left here, and it turned out that not only did I travel to a different world, I had traveled back in time as well. When I had arrived, you were a child still, so I decided to bide my time and wait, all the while knowing what would happen. So I created this system and decided to let the people here hopefully change everything and take you out before you left. Of course that never happened." He said as he gestured to a nearby room that hadn't been there before. I figured that it had been hidden behind a cloaking hologram of sorts and only just became visible to us now.

Alexis ran over to the computer and started flying over the keyboard like she had been born to do it, then again I had a feeling that she might be considering that she was my double. "This is the system that runs the satellite in space. Currently running the menu right now to see if there's any chance that we can do something from here to disable it right now." She stated.

My double looked at the floor, he knew something that much I could tell right there. "You have no idea how long I waited for this. The moment that I knew something would happen was when I heard reports of a house and drive way that appeared right out of nowhere, and none of the police officers could gain access to the front gate. We had reports of only one person that actually teleported thirty miles away, but that was before we had known about the teleportation field that surrounded the entire place. Once he came back, it was determined that there was no way anyone could ever be able to gain access to that location, that is unless you wanted them to enter the place. Right then I knew that it had to be you, through all of those six years that you had been gone and the places that you had gone to in the first place. Once this is all said and done, I do have one request."

"I'm in, what do you want me to do here?" She asked. Alexis wisely used no names considering that we didn't know if anything was being recorded.

I looked at my double before looking over at her. "See if it has a self-destruct option to it." I stated.

A second later I could tell by the sound of her voice that she was surprised. "I'll be, there is."

"Use it, and destroy that thing up there." I told her.

Alexis looked up at me. "Wait, don't you want to change it over to work for us instead, I'm sure that there's loads that we can use it for."

I looked back at my double. "No there isn't. You knew what was going to happen long before, and you set it up that in case we did try to use it that it would be a direct link right for you to our systems. There's no way that I'm letting you even get access to those systems at all. I know what you did to your own world, and that's not going to happen to this world at all." I told him. Looking back over at Alexis. "Blow it" I told her.

One look in my mask covered face, she understood right then what I was talking about and what I was doing. "Entering in the command, signal sent." She stated.

Miles over our heads, a few actually saw a flash of light before there was nothing, the flash had been so bright that it could be seen in broad daylight. We wouldn't hear about the reports of the flash till later that night when watching the news and knew right then that it had been the satellite that had blown up.

"It's done. It's gone." Alexis reported. "The computer is shutting completely down and the hard drive is wiping it's self out, when it's done there won't be anything left of this system at all. Even the internal components are melting down, once everything for this thing is said and done it'll be nothing but a pile of slag." She finished as she walked back over to us while keeping an eye on the meltdown.

"Now that that's done, the request that I've yet to make. I only ask  that you send me back to my own home world." My double asked.

I walked over to him taking a small oval like device out of my belt. Setting the controls for it, I placed the device in the center of my hand before touching his shoulders making contact with him. In a low whisper, "I'm sending you some place alright, however you're not going home, no one needs the level of control and tyranny that you brought to your own world and almost did to my own. You're going someplace where you'll never hurt anyone ever again." I told him. And right before he had a chance to say anything, I pressed the button on the side of the device and the look on his face right as he leapt, I will always remember. Once the blue field that had enveloped his astonished body vanished, I turned and left that office with Amy and Alexis following right behind.

Later that night, both Amy and Alexis came to me in my office, I could tell that they had a burning question. "We want to know where you sent him." Amy asked.

I looked at the both of them. "All you both need to know is that he went some place where he'll never harm anyone else ever again. And that's all I'll say about it, I'm sorry but I had seen what he had done to his own world, and that's the last thing that needs to happen to any world." I told them. They could tell by the look on my face that I seriously wasn't willing to talk any more on the subject.

During the coming days and weeks, I could tell that things were slowly returning back to the way that they had been shortly after I had first arrived here after I had left. When I was a kid I could never tell if anyone actually hated me at all, so I never bothered to count that period of my life before everything had gone crazy on me. But I knew now that since the sat had gone down that the hatred that people had was no longer there at all anymore.

I just wish I knew what happened to one person that I knew would be a great addition to the team, but had been missing since high school.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Cause and Effect Part 2

Knowing that we would eventually have to make a run at City Hall, I decided that it was time to do some recon and check out the place to see everything and get it all down. Using the park right next to their was the perfect location given that the front of City Hall actually faced the park in the first place.

I recorded down everything that happened over a two week's time span of the in video and audio and notes that I wrote down. The video and audio I got through the Oakley HUD shades that I wore constantly, and it was all relayed right back to my computer back at the house so that I could be able to figure everything out.

In the meantime, I was also working on Amy's new suit that she was going to be wearing when all of this took place, and I was also looking for yet another girl that I knew would be eventually included on our team, however all I could find was information on her from before we had graduated high school, nothing after that, it was like she had vanished right off the face of the earth. However right at that point, I knew that I couldn't dwell on it, even though Amy kept telling me that it was something that could take top priority after we'd solve this first problem. It turned out that the satellite was starting to get to an all-time high considering that I was going back and forth from this world to the other world, the one that I had first gone to from leaving this world, I was creating Amy's suit there considering that the tech needed was in that world and not the one that I was currently living in.

As we got more and more information, we got closer to actually doing what was needed and confronting whoever was behind everything in the first place. The only thing was that the problem was going to be with the police side of the entire building. It seemed that something had happened in this world a few years back that I didn't know about and now the police in this world operated on a completely random basis so one never knew when they were coming or going, and that was something that we were going to have to deal with. Alexis and I already had bullet absorbing energy shields that we could use, however that was the one part of Amy's suit that was going to take the longest, and I still hadn't been able to speed up the process of getting that part worked out right.

Once I figured out the energy shield problem, I had Amy come down to my lab under the house so that I could get the final parts worked out.

"You wanted to see me?" She asked as she stepped out of the clear tube leading up to the living room.

I turned to look at her. "You say that as if I ordered you here, and we both know that I didn't, so why would you say it that way. Anyway that's neither here nor there, here put this on your dominant hand's wrist." I told her handing her what appeared to be a wrist watch.

Amy took it and looked at it for a second before putting it on her right wrist. "Ok now what?" She asked.

What Amy didn't know was that the moment the band connected together at the lock point under her wrist, it was starting to read her DNA to make sure that she was the only one who could operate it. I knew at this point that not even I could be able to operate the device. "See that button on the side of the lock buckle right there, press it." I told her.

She pressed the button and a trigger unfolded sliding out into her palm. Amy was momentarily startled by what had just happened. "What the hell just happened and what is that?" She asked.

I laughed slightly since that was also the same reaction that Alexis had the first time when I had updated her suit as well. "That's the trigger to activate your new suit, just press your middle and ring finger on the trigger pad there and press it, after that the suit will activate and envelope your body and fully activate everything that you'll have with the suit." I told her.

Amy pressed the trigger and a second later she was enveloped in her suit that was mostly colored in green and red and had a white facial eye section for the head piece. Her hair was flowing from the top as designed and it looked like she had fire coming off the top of her head. I just hoped that the anti-gravity  units would actually pull through and work the way that they were supposed to in the first place. After all, Amy was supposed to be able to fly without a glider under her feet.

"Amazing, I can't believe that you did all of this." Amy stated as she looked all over her suit, suddenly she started to float off the floor and hover about a couple inches in the air. When Amy took notice of what was going on, she freaked out and dropped to the floor and crumpled down there. "What the hell?"

I dashed over and helped her back on her feet. "This suit allows you to do the one thing that I can't do without a glider, you can fly and you were starting to do that without any effort at all, though I noticed that it had been sooner than I thought. The suit is connected to you and reads what you want to do and feel like doing, but it also operates on a level that not many know about. What was it that you were thinking about when you started hovering?" I asked her.

Amy looked at me. "I wasn't thinking about anything really, I was just still amazed by the suit in the first place to see that you had finished it and had gotten everything for it working. I'm a little overwhelmed by what I'm seeing through this face piece."

I smiled. "That's your HUD or Heads Up Display, it will show you everything around to at all times, and it will let you know if there happens to be danger around you at all, and it will show the constant status of your suit at all times." I told her. "However if you're going to test out the flight part of the suit, please do it out back so that way you can hopefully have something soft to land on instead of crashing into the floor here and possibly damaging the suit. I mean it would be good considering the portal to the other world is here and it would be easier to repair, but you're going to need the open space in order to get things worked out right better than you could down here." I told her.

Both Amy and I went outside and I even showed her the button that would slip the suit back into standby mode, which Amy was surprised to find out that it was a button on the back of her wrist that had to be pressed a certain way in order for the suit to go into standby mode. After all she wouldn't want it to drop to standby right in the middle of a battle now would she?

I followed Amy up and outside of the house and explained other functions of the suit to her as well, knowing that she would need to know how the entire suit work, considering that I couldn't exactly write up a user manual for the suit. Once we made it outside, it allowed Amy the space she was going to need to test flight the suit, and since the field was active at all times, I had made sure that the suit would be safe to go in and out of the field constantly. Everything that Amy did was constantly being recorded down in the lab, and I had told her this, I wanted to make sure that anything that happened would be module and adaptable to anything that might be needed to be added to the suit later on, just like mine had been from the start. After all one never knew when one needed to make a change later on, even if it happens to be on another world.

About three hours later after Amy had tested literally everything on the suit twice (some more than that when she happened to like them most), and after she put the suit back into standby mode, she took it off and handed it back to me.

"What's this all about?" I asked her.

Amy looked at me while still holding the unit out to me. "Well I figured that you would want to run more tests on it now that I've gone and checked everything out." She told me.

I put my hand on it and her hand and gently pushed it back to her. "Sometimes you have to run before you can walk." I told her. "Keep the suit, the best way we can find out if anything needs to be done to it is from the field and this suit hasn't had the chance yet to hit the field, and it won't if you happen to give it back to me."

Amy looked at me. "Wait you want me to go out there and do what you do?" She asked.

I only smiled and never said anything before turning and heading back to the house. "Check how it works against the little things that are out there, one never knows what one will run into at any given time while they're trying to save someone." I told her before heading fully back into the house.

I turned around and watched as she put the device back on and activate the suit, a second later she was rising up into the air and disappearing over the house and heading right back into the city, though I did notice that she didn't land at all in Martinez, but flew on ward towards Concord and the outlying areas. Something told me that from that point things were going to be changing for the better.

Ninja Chronicles: The Return: Cause and Effect Part 1

Over the coming weeks as Amy got herself resituated to not only living here at the house, but also to helping me out in ways that I never thought of before, one of which was trying to find the source of why everyone hated the hell out of me. On that I doubted she would ever find the source, but one never knew, and I knew that personally from all of the worlds that I had visited.

About a month after Amy was fully settled in, she came into my office room since I had the door wide open letting everyone know that they could come talk to me if they needed to, of course at the moment there was only Alexis and Amy and that was it. However Amy didn't know the truth about Alexis and she hadn't asked, so I hadn't bothered to say anything to her on it.

"I think that I might've found something that might be the reason for the hatred that is geared directly towards you." She said as she stopped in the door way and leaned on the frame.

I turned around to face her away from my computer that I had set up, and it was displaying information on not only the dimensional worlds at the current time, but also the time lines for each of those worlds as well so that way I could monitor them and know if anything went wrong. Of course if anything did go wrong, that would be something that would be hard to pick out for someone that hadn't spent time in each of the worlds that I was now looking at. I nodded for her to continue.

"So I was looking over all of the data and information when it came to the levels of hatred that had been at the highest level when you had been here before you had left, and then the sudden drop off after you left, which took place literally the moment that you, as you put it, leaped to your first world. The hatred had been worldwide, however it was all centered right here in Contra Costa County, right in this city of Martinez California. No way in the world could that ever be a coincidence." Amy said as she looked at the note book that she had in her hand.

Despite everything that I was bringing over to this world that were more advanced than anything that was on this world at all, Amy still insisted on hand writing everything down and keeping hard copies of everything. "Well if that happens to be the case Amy, then where in town is everything centered on and located at?" I asked her.

Amy consulted her notes for a second before looking up and saying only one location. "City Hall."

Ok that right there floored the hell out of me, the one place that was the most centralized here in Martinez, and that's where all the hatred against me was literally coming from, that couldn't be right could it. "Wait you're telling me that something at City Hall is making everyone on this world hate me?" I asked her.

She looked at me. "Well I doubt that it's going to be a big poster with a camera on it saying 'Hate Alex', more likely something connected with satellites is doing it. Like a dish up on the roof connected up to a computer system there that actually doesn't belong on this world and is something way different from what you have set up anywhere here at all." Amy finished.

I couldn't seriously believe what Amy was saying, that there was some sort of computer system over at City Hall that was causing all of the world's hatred to be directed solely at me. Then I realized something. "Wait a minute, you said sudden drop off when I leaped, what do you mean by that?" I asked.

Amy looked at her notes. "I was wondering that myself so I looked at all of the records of the time, and it seems that whatever had a grip on the people completely left when you left yourself and till you came back never appeared again, like there was a sudden switch had been thrown and everyone was completely different or the lock they had was gone. I think that whatever system was set up couldn't find out and so it just shut off. When you and Alexis came back the system slowly started to wake up again and that's why the people were slowly starting to hate you again. However there was a small section of the population that was never effected by whatever was controlling the rest of the world." Amy finished explaining.

A lot had been answered right there by what she had told me, things that I didn't and hadn't thought of before I had left. I know that the hatred had been centered on me to the point that I had just hidden myself away till that lightning bolt had hit me and then I eventually made the suit and guilder that I left with, but now that I was back, I knew that I was going to have to deal with everything, not that I really wanted to, but I also knew that I had no choice in the matter when it came to the entire subject. There was now just one problem that I had to deal with and I didn't have any clue how to deal with it at all.

"Well now that we've gotten that figured out, there is one thing that we need to figure out, and that's going to be the bear of the problem. How do we get into City Hall to shut down the source of the hatred that's been affecting everyone on the planet, after all I doubt that they're going to just let me waltz right into the place and say 'Gee the system you're looking for is right this way', I mean come on here." I said.

Amy looked back at her notes. "That's something that I was also trying to figure out, and I still haven't been able to figure it out either. However I'm still working on it right now." She said as she turned and went back to her room and that had a mini laptop sized version of what I had in here.

Either way, I knew that this wasn't going to be a walk in the park, and I knew that I had my first major enemy on this world that I was going to have to confront sooner than I had thought.
